PHD Chambers Strengthens Human-Animal Bond In Association with BSF
New Delhi, February 5, 2017: The Polo’s equestrian fans, the crème de la crème of Delhi and the high profile dignitaries were in for a treat this past weekend at the precision-filled Polo Exhibition Match followed by Camel & Canine Show. To add an adequate scoop of perfection and entertainment, the hosts Ms. Neelam Pratam Rudy & Mr. Mukesh Gupta came together with Border Security Forces, widely known as the largest Para-military force in the world.
As an essential part of this vibrant occasion, the exciting polo exhibition match began after the felicitation ceremony held in the honor of the accomplished guests and dignitaries. The pressure on the pitch ramped-up when Team A (PHD Tourism Team) - Red Raiders and Team B (PHD Sports Committee Team) - Black Magic closely contested and took the audience by the storm through their gripping performance. After the enthralling match, Border Security Force’s Mr. Mishra took the command of the show and gave a visual treat to the audience through the live show by dependable cavalry camels, canines and equine athletes.

After a private exhibition polo match and Camel-Canine show, BSF served an entertaining slice of India’s culture through an engaging performance by Rajasthani talented Langa kalbeliya artists. India’s military perfection and cultural heritage were on display throughout this winters’ most unique and star studded event.
Speaking at the occasion, Neelam Pratap Rudy, Chairperson of PHD Chambers, Sports Committee said, “In association with PHD’s Tourism Committee and the Border Security Forces, we have organized this spectacular and unique show of an Exhibition Polo Match, Camel Tattoo, Canine Show, a Traditional Folk Dance and Musical Program, which has happened for the very first time in the Capital.
The show demonstrated the human – animal relationship, in a very captivating manner where in the bond witnessed between humans, horses, and dogs is unparalleled world over. The connection between humans and animals is one of the most fundamental bonds that human beings experience. This entire thing to see at one time and one place is a remarkable thing for us and all of the people who had witnessed to the spectacular event”.
Mr. Mukesh Gupta, Chairman Tourism Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry emphasized, “This unique show was a part of an initiative to promote tourism and also to create awareness among the public how the BSF personnel and their trained animals guard the borders of the nation in weather extremities”.
Last but not the least, this fast-paced yet enthralling event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and left the society with a powerful message on fundamental bond between humans and animals.
