Hari Prasad embarks on a road trip to create awareness about Parkinsons disease

7 years ago Hari Prasad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects movement. In January 2015, Hari underwent DBS surgery at Columbia Asia Referral Hospital, Yeshwanthpur conducted by Dr. Raghuram G, Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine surgeon and Dr. Guruprasad Hosurkar, Consultant Neurology. He along with his wife went on a road trip from Bangalore to Thimpu (Bhutan) for a period of 41 days. Today he is leaving for another road trip covering around 10,000kms in the western part of India. Through his road trips, Hari Prasad aims at creating awareness about Parkinsons and encourage patients to opt for DBS.
