Aspri Spirits hosted an exclusive evening with “Campari Aged Boulevardier”



~India gets famous premium taste ~

26th February 2017, Mumbai - Aspri Spirits, leading importers and distributors of some of the finest brands in the world of Wines and Spirits hosted an exclusive tasting of “Campari Aged Boulevardier”, on 16th February 2017 at MasalaBar, Mumbai.

The evening commenced with exclusive Campari cocktails curated by Aspri Spirits for the evening. The patrons were taken through the process of how the cocktails were created. The Campari Aged Boulevardier were kept in the Campari 3 litre Oak Barrels for over a month where it underwent ageing. The ageing develops a smooth and deep flavour to the cocktail.

Aspri Spirits created 3 different twists with Campari for the evening; Barrel Aged Campari Boulevardier, Original Classic Negroni and Negrovski


Barrel Aged Boulevardier

Equal parts of Campari with Scotch Whisky and Sweet Vermouth left to age in white oak barrels for over a month. A nice balanced palate


Original Classic Negroni

Equal parts of Campari with Gin and Sweet Vermouth. The Original Classic purely with a mature palate.


Negrovski

Campari with Vodka and Sweet Vermouth. A slightly drier version with a kick added.

Guests were seen enjoying and sipping on the “Campari Aged Boulevardier” along with scrumptious appetizers curated by MasalaBar that complemented the cocktail perfectly well.

Jackie Matai, Co -Founder – Aspri Spirits said “Negroni is a Classic drink and all-time favourite with patrons who love Classic Cocktails. Worldwide cocktail trends are changing and so is in India. Hence, we wanted to highlight how aging adds flavour to the cocktail and gives it more balanced palate. And therefore, we wanted to make the Boulevardier a hero tonight followed by the Classic Negroni. The whole idea is to showcase how Campari can be used and aged with different alcoholic base.
