~ Pearl Academy students perform at Khadi India tableaux at India’s 68th Republic Day~
New Delhi: 26th January, 2017: On the occasion of 68th Republic day of India it was a proud moment of Pearl Academy as its students performed at the Khadi tableau which was a part of Republic Day parade at Rajpath.
In continuation of Pearl Academy efforts to spun charkha to promote and revive Khadi on 2nd October 2016, as Pearl Academy students took training to spin the charkha and did an 8x8 feet installation of Mahatma Gandhi which was made with the thread.
The students of Pearl Academy, adorned in Khadi and performed at MSME Tableau. The students showcased the collection of renowned designer Sharee Basu at the tableau. The students also got an opportunity to meet hon’ble PM who congratulated them for their efforts.
Pearl Academy students have participated in Khadi tableau which came back to Republic Day parade after a gap of 8 long years. Student will also be present at Rashtrapati Bhawan on 27th January, 2017 to meet Hon’ble President of India.
