Noida,January 11,2017. The Mundota Fort and Palace Grounds, Jaipur was pulsating with exhilaration and high spirits as Antriksh India and Mundota Fort Palace teams played the Polo finale this Wednesday. The Antriksh India team was the runner – up of the tournament though Mundota Fort Palace team emerged as the winner of the tournament.
The one day tournament was hosted by Mr. Vikram Rathore to motivate and encourage sports among the youth. Presence of women team from the United States Polo Association brought more enthusiasm and interest in the tournament. Prince Janmejai Singh including Ayna, Auodri and Kani Dani from United States Polo association also participated from the team of Mundota Fort Palace to uplift the confidence of their players. On the other hand Manisha Rao, Divyakriti Singh, Karli, Stefni and His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh played in the team of Antriksh India.
Winner of Antriksh India Jaipur Gold Cup was Mundota Fort Palace team whereas the runner – up trophy was taken by the team of Antriksh India.
Speaking on the event from the team of Antriksh India, Manisha Rao said, “We want to encourage women to explore themselves in these kinds of sports as well. Very soon we are going to conduct similar activities in Noida and Ghaziabad regions. We should support such sports activities, so that talents can be recognized and appreciated in our city.”
