One of the students of Oberoi International School says " Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is an event with abundant opportunities to get people talking about preventive measures. It helps men better understand and appreciate women’s experiences, thus changing perspectives, helping improve gender relationships and decreasing the potential for violence"
"Violence against women does not just affect women; it is a societal problem. It affects the men who care about them, their families, their friends, their co-workers, and their communities. This is an initiative especially, for men, to show support and solidarity with women on domestic and sexual violence"
