India 5 December 2016: A 100 member student band set up at Canadian International School, is ready to enthrall the audience with a public performance of their musical prowess.
The band which comprises of students from grade 6 will be involved in a Winter Concert performance while the middle school students of grade 7 and 8 will be performing a Christmas Trilogy. A fully fledged high school symphony is then set to take the stage with a 20 member choir in performing Welcome Christmas, An African Novel & Ding Dong Merrily on High.
The student band is a traditional concert band set up with students playing various instruments like – flutes, clarinets, saxophones, percussion instruments et. The student band is headed by Scott, the Band Director who has been involved in the band programmes at the school since 2009, and later started going public with performances since 2013. The performance will be held at the Odeum which is a 470 seater theatre at Canadian International School
