Ridlr Launches Mobile Ticketing Across All BEST Routes - First 10,000 Consumers to Travel Free For a Week


Service aims to attract audiences towards public transport with a cashless payment facility for tickets and passes with Ridlr

Mumbai, 5th December, 2016: Having received an outstanding response from the public post a soft mobile ticketing launch across AC routes, BEST has now given the go-ahead for the service to be made available across all 4000 buses presently helping 3 million consumers travel across 365 different routes.

The service, which is available on the Ridlr app and is powered by Trimax, has also launched a scheme, wherein, starting from 10th December, the first 10,000 travellers shall travel free for a week, receiving credit worth upto Rs. 100. Also, consumers will get the benefit of further savings through wallet partners and rewards. These incentives will further motivate commuters, who have already shown a willingness to move towards mobile payments during the current demonetization drive, to go cashless with their transactions related to BEST. Apart from tickets, consumers can renew and buy daily passes and regular monthly passes, on Ridlr. Ridlr's mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play Store on all android devices.

Mr.Brijraj Vaghani is the co-founder & CEO of Ridlr. He has completed his masters of electrical engineering from University of Missouri Kansas City and BE computer science from Mumbai. He has close to 15 years of experience in developing software and embedded systems. Prior to co-founding Ridlr, he has worked in various technology and business leadership roles globally.
He started his career with Qualcomm, US and moved to Nextwave as one of the first engineering working on Wimax and media players. He was also the founding member of India Centre of Sears Holding Corporation. He delivered successful projects in the mobile, social and online space.
