Mumbai, November 11, 2016: P.D. Hinduja Hospital & MRC celebrated International Quality week from November 7th to November 11th, 2016. Globally, organizations have gained an understanding that success is not theirs alone but also the collective efforts and continuous dedication of their employees. With a similar thought process, P.D. Hinduja Hospital & MRC organized a variety of activities and sessions from November 7 – 11 that involved a new integrated approach towards employee engagement and development with a determined focus on enhancing Quality and Safety at the hospital.

Quality & Safety Week provided a platform to each and every member of our organization to share their ideas & initiatives which play an important role in enhancing the quality of our services for patients.”

Throughout this week of celebration, P.D. Hinduja Hospital with an aim to enhance employee knowledge and growth also organized multiple informative lectures for their employees. These sessions were given by both internal and external specialized teams and involved topics like Fire safety, Disaster Management, Ergonomics at one’s workplace, Employee safety, etc. These sessions witnessed large participation from the employees of the hospital and helped contribute to the direct development of the employees.
Apart from these, employee engagement activities like Daily Quiz Contests, Be a Photo Journalist, Room of Clues and Poster Competitions were organized that saw participation of staff in huge numbers from all cadres – doctors, nurses, attendants, non-medical staff etc.
On November 11, 2016, the final day of International Quality Week, P.D. Hinduja Hospital organized talks by eminent speakers from the healthcare industry and also panel discussions that focused on ‘Hospital Quality and Safety’ and ‘Creating a safe environment in hospitals’. The panel consisted of eminent personalities from the Healthcare, Quality and Consultancy services like Mr. Suresh Lulla, Qimpro Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Dinesh Shetty, Bureau Veritas, Dr. Parag Rindani - Associate Vice President & Head, Wockhardt Hospitals, South Mumbai, Dr. Rajiv Kumar – Head Quality, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Dr. Tarang Gianchandani – Chief Executive Officer, Jaslok Hospital, Mr. Dinesh Shetty- Manager Certification - India West Region, Bureau Veritas Certification India Pvt.
