Ingersoll Rand Introduces state of the art ‘Global Test Cell’ for Centrifugal Compressors
New Delhi, November 23, 2016 — Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in compression technologies and services, has introduced a state-of-the-art ‘Global Test Cell’ for Centrifugal Compressors for its customers. Every centrifugal compressor, whether new or in service needs to be tested to verify its performance under strict controlled conditions at a manufacturing plant or in the field at actual operating conditions. Ingersoll Rand responds to this market need with the launch of the ‘Global Test Cell’ for Centrifugal Compressors.
With the introduction of this revolutionary Global Test Cell for Centrifugal Compressors, Ingersoll Rand customers can now witness their Compressor Testing from the comfort of their own location. The purpose of this performance test is to verify that a centrifugal compressor will perform in accordance with the design at the operating conditions given in the specifications.

With the Global Test Cell, Ingersoll Rand Centac customers will now be able to witness the Centrifugal Compressor Testing from the comfort of their own locations. The Live MIMIC and Real Time Data Capture record accurate data as High Accuracy Sensors and National Instruments cRIO hardware are installed for the offering. The testing is done in an Acoustic Enclosure to ensure lower noise levels outside the test cell.
