Bangalore’s most esteemed quiz competition for schools
Bangalore, November 04, 2016 – Greenwood High International School is set to host the third edition of the inter school quiz competition – WISSEN 2016 on November 9, 2016 at its Bannerghatta Road campus. The quiz which is open for students from grade 7 to 10 will revolve around current affairs, history, sports, entertainment, India etc and a special round on the environment and water conservation in keeping with the core theme of WISSEN – Go Green. Each school can register up to three teams, with two members in each team. The registered teams will have to clear a preliminary round consisting of twenty questions to enter into the semifinals which will have 16 best teams. The top 8 teams will be selected to participate in the Grand Finale based on their performance in preliminary rounds and semifinals. The quiz will be curated and conducted by quizmaster Vinay Mudaliar.
The top 3 teams will be rewarded cash prizes for their education amounting to Rs 1,00,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. The semi finalists will receive consolation prizes.
