Aircel customer wins gold worth Rs.3.5 lakh in Aircel iPlayiWin contest


Hyderabad, November 30, 2016: Aircel, one of India’s leading innovative telecom players, today felicitated the prize winner of Aircel iPlayiWin, an exciting general knowledge-based consumer engagement contest. Arun Kumar Behera, an IT professional, who scored the maximum points in the exciting VAS contest, won gold worth Rs.3.5 lakh.

Behera participated in Aircel iPlayiWin Season 16 that was held from May 24, 2016 to Aug 21, 2016. Aircel iPlayiWin, a knowledge-based contest launched in 2014, was conceived to engage customers in a meaningful way, wherein customers were encouraged to subscribe to the service by dialing 51001/510010. Customers then had to answer a maximum of 20 simple multiple choice questions daily for a period of 90 days. For each correct answer, the contestant gets two points and winners are announced on daily, weekly and monthly basis.  

Currently in its third year, Aircel iPlayiWin has successfully deepened customer engagement and created tremendous buzz among thousands of customers across the country. The contest garnered great popularity in a short span of time, as customers instantly connected with it.
