India 27 October 2016: As the festivities approach closer, it’s time to extend our support towards the society and Yauatcha across its locations in India will be doing its bit during the auspicious week of Diwali. From 27th October to 2nd November, for every bill generated at Yauatcha, Rs. 100 will be donated by the restaurant towards improving the lives of the families of the martyrs at the border.
One can further show their solidarity by contributing any amount they like by directly adding the money to their bill amount at the restaurants. TheMichelin- starred restaurants in association with Ketto, an online social cause fundraising portal will also be collecting donations on www.ketto.org/YauatchaIndia, which will then transfer the amount to the martyrs’ families.
Karyna Bajaj, Executive Director, KA Hospitality commented on the project saying, “India has been very warm and welcoming to Yauatcha, the past five years. Hence, during this auspicious festival of Diwali, we are undertaking a modest initiative to lend a hand and support the families of our martyrs who have lost their lives protecting us. This Diwali let all of us celebrate the festival of love and light by helping brighten lives of the families of those at the border in our little ways”.
Rajiv Sobhani, VP Business Development, Ketto, stated, “We are pleased to be associated with Yauatchato come together and contribute to the families of our soldiers at the border. We are aware that their loss can never be compensated; this is a small attempt we are embarking on to make sure that they receive some well-deserved support from the people of this country.”
