Dubai, UAE, 16 October 2016: HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, officially inaugurated Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)’s updated website, on the first day of Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) 2016, attended by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA. During the inauguration, DEWA highlighted the services available through the website. DEWA’s website provides comprehensive services that meet the requirements of everyday life. DEWA made customer happiness a priority when revamping its website. The website provides easy, integrated, and efficient services, which provide easy browsing and online access.
“The revamped website offers special services for each category of customer. It was restructured according to a comprehensive study to meet customer needs, enhance customer services, and improve quality of service. All services have been divided into more specific categories, according to customer requirements, to facilitate and speed up surfing and navigation,” said Al Tayer.
“The website layout is clearer and more transparent in terms of displaying the needed steps. The design is unified and compatible with all smart devices and phones. DEWA made customer experience a priority when updating its website. This has improved DEWA’s services to meet the requirements of its customers and make them happier. DEWA works to enhance Dubai’s position through the ongoing development of services and smart applications, this is part of DEWA’s commitment to create a fingerprint for the Emirate in the digital world, and in other smart cities,” added Al Tayer.

It also supports DEWA’s efforts and commitment to provide easily-accessible services, which are available on the smart devices preferred by its customers, and offer services according to the highest levels of safety and efficiency. DEWA showcased it’s a number of its latest smart services, applications, and initiatives through its stand at GITEX 2016. These include Future Services, DEWA’s Smart App, the Hololense-3D reality technology from Microsoft, and the Sirb initiative for drones, in addition to other services.
