"FESTIVAL OF HOPE" a noble initiative

The "FESTIVAL OF HOPE" a registered NGO, proudly presents the 9th edition of the designer fundraiser exhibition celebrating the spirit & courage of cancer survivors. The founder, Shalini Vig Wadhwa wants each person battling the disease and the survivors to know that "Each day is a blessing. Live it and cherish it." The elite fundraiser exhibition was held on October 23 & 24, 2016 (11 AM – 7 PM) and showcased collections of prominent designers like JJ Valaya, Rohit Bal, Ficus, Differniture, Flower Power, Smita Singh, Bent Chair, Sotto Voce & many others who came together for this cause and donated part of the sales to the Foundation.

Eminent award winning designer Anju Modi had her majestic ‘Bajirao Mastani’ collection showcased on the ramp with 100 Leaders of Hope on October 24, with her message to people suffering from cancer and those who have survived it "You are stronger than you know, braver than you think and more loved than you can imagine."

Style icon and fashion entrepreneur, Pernia Qureshi was the showstopper of this glamorous evening. Accompanied by Daljit Sean Singh and Tanisha Mohan.

The evening was be graced by the presence of Rajmata Mukut Rajya Lakshmi Devi of Jaisalmer as the chief guest.

Other guest included Sanjeev Bijli, Jt Secretary Sakheel Ahmad, Sanjay Gujral, Princess Raseshwari Rajya Laxmi of Jaisalmer, Nawab Kazim Ali Khan, MD of Lake Forest Wines Neeraj Sachdeva, MD of SKN Infrastructures Sandeep Kumar, Shailja Devi of Natures Treat and many more. Brand Ambassador of the Festival of Hope, Ms Priyanka Khurana Goyal was part of the inauguration as well.
