Company sharpens focus to accelerate growth in enterprise and strengthen partnership ecosystem
Mumbai, India, September 26, 2016: Veeam® Software, the innovative provider of solutions that delivers Availability for the Always-On Enterprise™, today announced Ashok Acharya as the new Regional Director for India and SAARC region. Ashok Acharya will be responsible for driving overall business strategy, expanding solutions offerings to existing and new customers and further strengthening the strategic channel partnerships to consolidate growth.
Veeam recently announced record Q2 results globally and as a testimony of India’s market potential, the company’s total bookings revenue for Q2 2016 in India grew by more than 23 percent quarter-over-quarter (QoQ). Acharya will continue to drive strong growth momentum for customers in India who are looking to leverage opportunities in digital transformation. In an already competitive market, Veeam will continue to provide Availability solutions via ProPartners to enterprise and mid-market customers to create new opportunities, and increase profitability.
Acharya will be based in Bangalore and will report to Gregg Petersen, Regional Director, Middle East, Africa and SAARC.

Acharya brings rich experience spanning more than 18 years in enterprise technology. Prior to joining Veeam, he was most recently associated with Infoblox Inc as Country Manager for India and SAARC region. In this capacity, Acharya played a significant role in driving the entire business strategy and revenue across established and new emerging markets in the region. He was also instrumental in consistently exceeding growth every year through introducing new products, strategically forging new partnerships and driving channel sales. In addition, Achrya has also held various senior leadership positions with technology providers such as like Juniper Networks, EMC and Adobe.
