Bengaluru 9th September 2016 : Marwari Yuva Manch Branches in Bangalore have planned to organize more than 25 Cancer Detection&Awareness Camp during September and October 2016. In line to these,5 camps have already been conducted in Sudham Nagar, Gandhinagar and Rajaji Nagar. More the 200 people were screened for Cancer in each of this camp. Awareness about Cancer was also given to an equal number of people in each Camp. These Camps were visited by dignitaries like Mr.Rajshekhar, Mr Satish Mittal, Mr. Prakash Mandoth, Mr. Kantilal Ji Pareek (President, PareekSamaj), Mr. Suresh Pareek, Mr. Ramesh Kothari, AcharayaTulsiMahapragyaChetna(Kendra President), Mr. ShantilalBorana, SaraswathiBafna among others.
In coming days camps are planned to be organized at Rajaji Nagar (10th Sep, Sunita Gupta, 9343894010), RR Nagar (11th Sep, Lal Chand(9448733567),UmeshTulsyan(9341666007)),Neelmangala, Peenya, Sanjay Nagar, KR Puram / Banswadi, Whitefield, HSR / Kormangala, Hosur, Krishangiri, Chandapura / Attibele, Jigani, Bannerghtta Road, BTM / JP Nagar, Jayanagar, Kanakpura Road.
The Cancer Detection Camp was organized to draw the attention of the public to the ill-effects of smoking, chewing tobacco and pan masala products. The purpose of the camp is to reach out to as many people and their families as possible, in different socio-economic sections of society and persuade them to go in for regular screening. During these camps, the people will be screened for cancer & motivate to adopt healthy lifestyle and QUIT SMOKING & TOBACCO for SAVING LIFE FROM CANCER.
