Bengaluru, India – September 7th, 2016 – India’s largest consumer technology exhibition, ‘India Gadgetz Expo 2016’ (IGE 2016), will be held in Bengaluru, from October 5th to 7th 2016, at KTPO (Karnataka Trade Promotion Organization) Whitefield. It will aim to bring together latest innovations in consumer technology and discuss relevant topics on Digital India, Make in India, Smart Cities and Startups, that are shaping tech-savvy India.
The three day event will see participation from companies such as Oppo, Intex, Creative, Epson and others, as well as some brand launches. Prominent personalities from the industry, and Government, including Amit Boni, Country Head, Motorola Mobility, India, Arvind R. Vohra, Country CEO & MD, Gionee India, Akhilesh Tuteja, Partner Advisory Services, KPMG, and others, will be present. Key announcements such as major partnerships, brand launches and new initiatives from the Government will also be made at the event.
IGE 2016 will comprise engaging panel discussions, innovative technology, and a display of futuristic products. This year, the event is expected to host a wide range of audiences, and an estimate of 1 lakh visitors of which 20 thousand are B2B, 70 thousand are consumer, and 10 thousand are delegates. Thought leaders will gather to address and discuss topics such as new age marketing, vehicle technology, gaming, consumer tech marketing, device startups in India, trends in wearables, women leaders in technology, and many others.

Brands will display their advanced technologies and innovations, of which 25 stalls are sponsored by the Information Technology, Biotechnology and Keonics departments of the Government of Karnataka. This step has been taken in order to encourage startups registered with the IT department of the Government of Karnataka to participate in IGE 2016, as well as promote the entire ecosystem of startups. Through this sponsorship, they are providing these startups with a visible platform to showcase their products and services.
National Small Industries Cooperation (NSIC) will also be sponsoring 15 stalls under the scheme of Marketing Assistance Scheme (MAS).
IGE will showcase a wide range of technology products, and attendees are encouraged to register in advance in order to stay updated on the event and its developments, including exciting contests and announcements.
