India 27 September 2016: The definitive reference and e-commerce destination for avant-garde, independent designers, INDELUST held its first pop-up event in Hyderabad to unveil an exclusive collection of contemporary Indian lifestyle design and ethical fashion brands.
Hosted by Olive Bistro, Jubilee Hills, the event was a platform for the creative innovation of designers working with hand-woven textiles and the traditional craft skills of south Asian artisans, bringing these into a contemporary fashion context to further awareness of the innovative design sensibility emerging from the Indian subcontinent.
On display were established ethnic wear designers including, Payal Singhal, Uravashi Kaur, Rahul Mishra and Kavita Bhartia, contemporary shirts, tunics and dresses from Rimzim, Drvv, AT&T, alongside accessories and handbags by Urmi, Vitasita, and costume and semiprecious jewellery by Kaligarh, Janavi, Dvibhumi.

Also on display were an exclusive selection of children’s’ wear from Lillibet, Payal Singhal, FRB, Liz Jacob, including a special collection by Neon and Safomasi, designed and custommade for Indelust and recently featured in American Vogue.
The event celebrated innovative Indian lifestyle design and ethical fashion that revitalizes south Asia’s dissipating heritage of traditional arts and crafts and showcases current Indian designers committed to the revival of disappearing south Asian arts and crafts.
