Tango Thursday at Three Dots and a Dash
Bangalore Argentine Tango troupe to host ‘ Tango social’ at Three Dots on 8th September
Bangalore, September 6th 2016: Looking for some mid week fun? Head straight to Three dots and a dash to give a twist to your Thursday! Popular city based troupe Bangalore Argentine Tango will host ‘Tango social’ at Three dots on 8th September from 8 PM to 10.30 PM. As you sit back and sip into some amazing Tiki cocktails, enjoy the vibrant and playful moves of over 20 talented dancers.
The magic of Argentine Tango will give you the much needed break on a weekday evening. The Argentine tango is a social dance that brings together melodic music and creative movements to build a beautiful connection between the two partners. Unlike other dance forms, tango does not focus on a pattern of steps, but on improvising movement to interpret emotions conveyed by the music.
Started by French Designer Hubert Tassin in 2011 with a bunch of dance enthusiasts, mainly from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore Argentine Tango (BAT) is a non profit dance school currently run by his senior students. In the last five years BAT has grown to become one of the largest Tango communities in India, with a steady stream of International performers and teachers visiting Bangalore to conduct Tango workshops. BAT conducts regular classes and Dance Socials on Thursdays and Sundays
