India 02 September 2016: Bollywood music aficionados will be delighted to know that Mumbai is ready to host its very first homegrown Bollywood music festival; Radius Developers presents Hungama Bollywood Music Project (BMP). BMP will be a first of its kind, multi-stage, multi-genre two-day long festival, to be held at Jio Garden, BKC on September 30 and October 1, 2016.
Attendees should expect never-heard-before acts by over 20 of the biggest names in the Bollywood music fraternity. For the first time ever, Arijit Singh, Amit Trivedi, Papon, Badshah, Rekha Bharadwaj, Shalmali Kholgade, Sachin-Jigar, Shefali Alvares, Nakash Aziz, Divya Kumar and Mohammed Irfan, among many others, will create experimental, alternative music on stage.
Before the festival kicks off, BMP will involve aspiring singers from across the country through a nation-wide talent hunt, where the winning singers will open the act for Arijit Singh and Rekha Bharadwaj. Also on their cards, is BMP Masterclass, a digital video series where some of the biggest Bollywood music stalwarts will speak about what drives them to create the kind of music they do. The festival and all the pre-festival activities will be curated by an advisory panel constituting Rekha Bharadwaj, Hariharan, Sajid-Wajid and Sunny MR.
