India 26 August 2016: Phoenix Marketcity, Bengaluru’s international shopping and lifestyle destination launched two public Art Sculptures to create awareness about the importance of Car Pooling. Let’s be a part of the noble initiative ‘share your ride, free the road’ and help Bangalore get rid of traffic jam.
Painting Workshop
To spread the word about Carpooling, Phoenix Marketcity is conducting painting workshop for underprivileged kids from Green Peace India (NGO). These kids will be participating for painting competition also.
Painting work shop will be conducted under the guidance of Artist Amarnath Sharma and Sachin Kaluskar.
Drum Jam session
As a part of Carpooling activity Drum Jam session is organised for the Kids from the drum jam team called as Beat Gurus. 'Beat Gurus', a band that was started in 1999 with the name 'Green Rhythm' and two band members. At present, 'Beat Gurus' a 3 member band who has absolute love towards Djembe, a West - African hand drum, shaped like a large goblet and meant to be played with bare hands. Catch the unmatched members performing live and loud at Phoenix Marketcity and letting its audience go crazy.
