INK announces the 29 Fellows for 2016

Chandigarh, August 9, 2016: INK, India’s foremost platform for the exchange of cutting-edge ideas and inspiring stories today announced its much awaited list of INK Fellows 2016. Each year Fellows are selected out of hundreds of applications for a focused engagement where INK Fellows interact with like-minded peers on unconventional career paths, and from various fields of expertise.

The INK Fellows Program is conducted in association with the TATA Trusts. Tata Trusts encourage innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit which is so palpable in the youth of the nation; thereby playing a catalytic role in bringing these ideas to fruition by making the change makers meet the change agents. The Trusts endeavour to maintain sustainability and innovation at the forefront of all its initiatives and believe that tapping and nurturing young innovative minds in the right direction may yield great results and opportunities in the rapidly changing world.

The 7th batch of INK Fellows are an uber select group of diverse talents and include Adhik Kadam (Social), Aditi Gupta (Entrepreneur), Akshay Nanavati (BlueSky), Anshul Tewari (Social), Avinash Saurabh (Health), Chandan Gomes (Art), Dheeraj Roy (Research), Ere Gowda (Film), Haleem Khan (Dancer), Harshit Agarwal (Tech), Kalyani Khona (Entrepreneur), Kenta Koga (Education), Keshav Reddy (Entrepreneur), Kourosh Ziabari (Culture), Laura Kriefman (Art), Mahesh Jadav (Social), Neha Bagaria (Entrepreneur), Nirali Kartik (Music), Pallavi Gupta (Social), Pavan Kumar (Tech), Prasenjeet Yadav (Photography), Pratik Shah (Tech), Sameer Seth (Entrepreneur), Sandhya Goli (Sport), Sarvesh Shashi (Health), Sattvik Mishra (Entrepreneur), Shannon Olsson (Science), Suranga Nanayakarra (Research) and Veerappan Swaminathan (Social).

The INK Fellows Program is further strengthened by a strategic partnership with the WIRED Innovation Fellowships in the UK. The partnership allows INK to nominate two of its Fellows to the WIRED Fellowships and WIRED reciprocates that to the INK Fellowship Program.

INK Fellows are given a platform to showcase their work and ideas to a global audience through INK’s flagship annual event, the INK Conference. The Fellows receive mentorship, support and more importantly a platform for discovery and exposure like no other. This engagement facilitates change-makers access to potential customers, funding opportunities, accolades and other forms of support critical to their journey and success.
