India 20 August 2016: 'The Beautypolis Achievers Awards 2016, North India was held at the Pride Plaza Hotel, New Delhi. It was a star studded event that celebrated the achievements and success of the professionals in beauty industry. Amidst the entire professional beauty circut, Dr. Blossom Kochhar was felicitated with the Beautypolis award for her contribution to the the beauty industry and educating people about aromatherapy. It was a double reason to celebrate as Ms. Samantha Kochhar was also honoured with the BeautyPolis Educator of the year (Hair) award, for her sheer dedication and achievements in the field. The night was filled with stunning performances and was attended by the who’s who of the industry.'

A clear visionary, way ahead of her time, Dr. Blossom Kochhar is the founder of The Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies. Within the beauty industry Dr. Kochhar is considered a pioneer as she has been practicing and researching the science of ‘Aromatherapy and Herbalisim’ well over 25 years.. This knowledge has led to the manufacture of her own range of aromatherapy based skincare and beauty products under the brand name ‘Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic’. As the Chairperson of Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies, her name is synonymous with successful brands – Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic, and Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts & Design (BKCCAD).
Dr. Blossom Kochhar received the Best Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the IVth Indian Education Awards on May 2014. She also received the International Women's Day Award by the Indian Council for UN Relations on March 10, 2014 in New Delhi. She was also recently awarded the Gates and Custodian Person of the Year 2013 Award as well as the Universal Humanity Award 2013 on World Humanitarian Day on August 19, 2013 in New Delhi. Earlier she was conferred with The Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to the Indian Hair, Beauty and Spa industry as a pioneer of Aromatherapy in India at The Indian Salon Congress 2012 by the Franchise India Group. In addition Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts and Design was awarded The Best Hair Academy Award at The Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Couture Awards recently. BKCCAD had also received the Best Beauty Training Institute of the Year Award in May 2014 at the IVth Indian Education Awards.
Dr Blossom Kochhar is also Member, Governing Council, Beauty and Wellness Sector Skills Council, NSDC ( National Skill Development Corporation) and was part of the jury of the recently concluded World Skills India competition. She is also the Technical Expert for the Vocational Education in Beauty and Wellness under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
An icon of the hair and beauty industry, Dr. Blossom Kochhar holds high-ranking positions in several organizations. She is the President, Organisation Mondiale Coiffure (OMC) - Paris, Inter Coiffure Mondial- India and National Hair Dressers Association (NHBA). She is also the Education Director at Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts and Design (BKCCAD).
