Mumbai, 5 August 2016: This weekend Ideas Unlimited brings to Mumbai one of its most popular plays ‘Mohan’s Masala- Recipe to make a Mahatama’. Directed by the renowned Manoj Shah, the play chronicles the life of the young Mohan through exciting dialogue and art and follows his journey as he becomes the great Mahatma.
As any recipe is incomplete without its masalas, Mohan’s Masala rightly shows us how the Mahatama would be incomplete without a vital ingredient ‘Mohandas’. The play brings to life Mohan’s childhood and his experiences that have played a pivotal role in shaping his future.
Join Pratik Gandhi in his monoact to embark on the journey where a young Mohaniya teaches you to smell your own masalas through the example of his own life spanning from his birth in Porbandar to his life’s tipping point in South Africa. Director Manoj Shah brings in his years of cinematic direction in this minimalistic theatre production that depicts the untold part of the Mahatma’s life story with an interesting mix of humour, power packed dialogues and the paintings of the renowned artist Atul Dodiya, making it an experience to be cherished.
Walk through the path that transformed an ordinary soul into a spirit that is an inspiration to the entire world. Get a taste of the Mahatama’s world with Mohan’s Masala!
