Chennai, 24th August 2016 : KIND MADRAS ... the photography contest powered by BALM ... had received over 120 entries for their 2 categories ... Mobile & Camera {including Video) and the 7 winners were awarded prizes for their very interesting pictures. The entries were judged by ace film director Mani Ratnam and celebrity photographer G Venket Ram.

About 30 short-listed pictures are displayed at ‘The Marina’ located on College Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai for the benefit of camera enthusisasts and diners at the restaurant. Since the event generated considerable amount of interest both in the media and among general public of Chennai, the short-listed photos will serve to introduce the humane side of Madras as also practices and traditions that are unique to Madras.
