Swimming the 200 Metre Butterfly in the Speedo Fastskin LZR Racer X on Day 3, Damini while disturbed by the on-goings in her surrounding was determined to be her best in the pool, sharing "It is frightening to be in Turkey currently, but when they said they were not going to stop the competition, I ignored my surrounding and did the best I could do in the Swimming Pool. I am satisfied with my performance under the circumstances and will continue to aim for strong performances in my next few events."
