Mumbai 9 July 2016: The glory of Chinese art was spread across the capital as some of the most renowned Chinese artist exhibited their art works in the presence of many Indian artists. “Silk Road" - China Art Masters world Tour Exhibition, which was held in the capital on 7th July 2016 at Art Spice Gallery, The Metropolitan hotel & Spa gave the Indian audiences an impeccable view of Chinese art history. The lamp lighting was done by Mr. Jawahar Sircar, Ina Puri, Dr. Ravi kumar & eminent artist Naresh Kapuria. The show was curated by Mr. Cai Cheng & Mr. Yin Hong Sheng. The theme of the exhibition was lord Buddha & the color Red which is associated with luck in Chinese culture. The works were mainly composed of the traditional Chinese art style- Ink, also termed as watercolor or brush painting. Beautiful paintings were made on the spot by Chinese artist and were gifted to the Indian artist as souvenirs of the exhibition and this gesture was much appreciated not only by the artists but from the people who flocked in to have a glimpse of this unique exhibition. Against the surreal style of painting, the art works were more inclined towards real picture narrating of scenic beauty.
