India 20 July 2016: K.J Somaiya Centre for Studies in Jainism has announced opening of admissions to its Mumbai University accredited courses in Jainology. The courses being offered are certificate course in Jainology (one year part-time), diploma course in Jainology (one year part-time), Prakrit language courses (one year part-time), M.A by research (two years), P.H.D philosophy ( minimum two years) and short term courses ( three months part time). Courses are conducted in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Flexibility in timing is available.

From time to time Jain Centre is arranging many programs such as :- guest lectures, seminars, workshops, group discussion etc., This program is based on keeping in mind the welfare of people in society –with people in society – with a view to imbibe in them morality and good conduct.
The achievement of Jain Centre :
Many students are studying in Jain Centre at present There are many publications including Research Project on Saman Suttam 4 volumes which are being published.One of the students got ‘Young Researcher Award’ in Jain International Conference
