Chandigarh, July 03, 2016: Videocon Connect today announced the winner of the fourth season of Punjab’s biggest couple dance competition ‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi’. The Grand Finale was held at Tagore Theatre on July 02 and the live performances were streamed online on Connect Broadband Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ConnectPunjab/ for social media followers.

Renowned Punjabi Singer Gurdas Maan was the star attraction at the Grand Finale. The crowd went berserk when the star gave his performance. Soulful renditions and a beautiful display of melodious voice and heart stirring compositions captivated the audiences. His voice enthused, captivated and enthralled audiences across age groups, genres and geographies.  The evening was packed with one breathtaking performance after another as each couple gave their most powerful final performance.  

In an intense, nerve-racking finish, Mrs.& Mr. Kamal Makkkar from ludhiana won the ‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi Season 4’ title and an all expense paid luxurious foreign vacation for three nights and four days. The titles of 1st and 2nd runners up were won by Mrs & Mr Karandeep Singh , Mrs & Mr Rakesh Bajaj respectively, and were awarded with prizes like 40”LED TV, Refrigerators etc.  

To make this evening even more memorable, winning couple from Season 2 and season 3 joined the judges to motivate the performing couples. The Judges comprised of celebrated names Kanika Raheja, Model, Choreographer and one of the participants of Mrs. Universe Contest, Choreographer Banandeep Rekhi from Chandigarh and Prof. Prabhdeep Kaur of Punjabi University.

The Season 4 of Videocon Connect Super Jodi witnessed participation by professionals from all walks of life, Doctors, IT professionals, banking professionals, entrepreneurs, Interior designers etc. The hunt for the Super Jodi-4 was spanned for over 2 months and saw over 42 audition rounds held across various malls in Chandigarh, Mohali, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Bathinda and Patiala. 

The 2 month long program engaged over 100,000 people as audience from all age groups and more than 5000 couples registered for the Mega contest. After rigorous rounds of auditions more than 200 couples competed at the City Finales across Punjab out of which 6 couples were shortlisted for the Grand Finale. The event has been hit on social media with more than 1 million reach.

Videocon Connect Super Jodi is one of the most spectacular contests ever staged by a corporate and a unique customer engagement initiative.
