Sankara Eye Hospital invited 50 special children from Samarthanam Trust on the occasion of Helen Keller Day
Bengaluru, 30 June, 2016: On account of Helen Keller Day Sankara Eye Hospital invited a group of 50 special children from the Samarthanam Trust for Disabled and also other schools for special children. The children spent an eventful day under the guidance of an expert from the rehabilitation department of the hospital who started the day with a motivational speech for the children.
Helen Keller is renowned for her inspirational life after overcoming her physical disabilities. She triumphed over them and established an evergreen name for herself in the world. June 27th, the birth date of Helen Keller, is celebrated in recognition of her achievements and her determination to succeed despite all odds.
Sankara Eye Hospital marked this day by organizing a special day for the special children. The kids participated in activities like drawing competition, where the best four were awarded with prizes. The children were also treated with complimentary gifts and snacks at the event.
