Bengaluru, 27 June, 2016: Shiro is known for rendering an extraordinary Asian dining experience and this time around, the idea is to offer a whole new refreshing seasonal menu for the monsoons. All set to host The Shiro Collection: Steaming Sensation from June 29th onwards, the culinary team at Shiro has handcrafted a delightful menu by expat dim sum chefs – Ryan Cabug Andrea and Rhonel Santoyo, under the master guidance of Chef Rahul Hajarnavis.

Shiro presents Steaming Sensation, a festival showcasing 40 unique steamed gourmet dim sums, other steamed delicacies and handcrafted cocktails. Using exotic ingredients like truffle oil, exotic mushrooms, scallops, lobsters among others, these dim sums will be served with a wide variety of complimentary flavours of free flowing hot and cool teas as well as infused cocktails. For those who’d like to try a little bit of everything, assorted dim sum sharing baskets take care of your every craving.

 The Shiro dim sum collection brings you traditional favourites and some new crowd pleasers. Bring in the monsoons with our exotic dim sum offerings like the Lobster and Truffle Oil Dumpling, Chilean Seabass Dumpling, Scallop Suimai and Mushroom and Cream Cheese Dumpling with Truffle Broth. One can also gorge on some steamed delicacies like Fish with Laksa sauce, Glutinous Rice with Oyster Chichen and the Silken Tofu with Thai Herb Sauce. For the Bao lovers, Shiro offers some delicious baos like Teriyaki Tofu Gua Bao, Pork Belly Bao and Katsu Chicken Gua Bao . For the dessert lovers, Shiro offers two interesting sweet treats - the Lotus Bean Bao, a traditional Chinese dessert bao made with sweet lotus paste and the Chocolate Bao  that is an in house special creation with rich chocolate ganache and nuts. 

The food menu is intricately paired alongside some unique infused cocktails like Peach Thai Chilli Martini, Grapefruit & Elderflower Martini, Rosemary & Pomegrante Martini and Vanilla & Sweet Sherry Martini. An interesting twist to the cocktail menu is a special addition of an egg and tea-infused cocktail called Rose in Bloom Martini with Gordon’s gin, rose in bloom tea, elderflower syrup, egg white, angustra bitters and rose petals.
