Hyderabad, 4th June, 2016: Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad, a leading management school organized a one-day HR Conclave for sharing perspectives on learning and development. IIMA is known for its unique training methods worldwide and offers training at every level for professionals.
The conclave was designed for HR heads and leaders of learning and development in the corporate sector, Government, start-ups and other Organizations. The focus of the event was to restructure the management Development program at IIMA. The conclave majorly discussed about the expectations and suggestions related to emerging leaders program, young entrepreneur program, organizational leadership for 21st century.
During the inaugural address, Prof. Ashish Nanda, Director, IIMA, said “A well-advanced training is required in today’s millennial organizations. We at IIMA identify the needs of the Executive learning and design the excellent training program.”
While explaining about the Executive Education at IIMA, Prof. Sebastian Morris, Chairperson, Executive Education, IIMA said “IIMA would play a significant role in Executive Education in the future and operate at a different level, leaving experience that would give lasting values. IIMA hopes to work with its clients and participants to provide a high quality training program.”
The conclave included three panel discussions about the first Panel were on ‘Meeting the learning needs of Millennial Organizations and Employees’. The key points discussed were “Why top level Manager should be trained?” and “Growing through learning partnership?” Few more senior Executives, who participated in the Conclave, shared their knowledge and experiences on Learning through partnership and its benefits.
Concluding the Conclave, the issue of the future of learning was mainly discussed. The adjournment of the event was done by Prof. Biju Varkkey, faculty Coordinator, IIMA Conclave.
