May 17 2016, New Delhi : Shiv Nadar University, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, research-focused and student-centric university, announced admissions open for the academic year 2016-17 for its undergraduate programs - Bachelor of Arts (Research), Bachelor of Science (Research) and Bachelor of Technology.
The University also announced the launch of a new Bachelor’s program in Management Studies (BMS) under the aegis of the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SoME). This program is uniquely designed to provide students with a strong foundation of specialized knowledge through experiential learning and opportunities for early global exposure through exchange programs, internships and projects at partner universities like Duke, Carnegie Mellon and Babson College.
Apart from the new School of Management and Entrepreneurship, the University offers undergraduate programs under the aegis of three schools:-
· School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SoHSS) – the School offers diverse range of programs with inter-disciplinary combinations across English, History, Sociology, Economics, Art Design & Performing Arts, Communications and Education, helping students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills to succeed in the modern world.
· School of Natural Sciences (SoNS) – the School offers research-based programs in Chemistry, Mathematics, Life Sciences and Physics, preparing undergraduate students for careers in industry, research and academics.
· School of Engineering (SoE) – the School employs innovative and engaging teaching methods while providing a world-class learning experience in the disciplines. SoE offers programs in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Shiv Nadar University also announced that it has earmarked a scholarship fund of Rs. 35 Crores for its undergraduate students. Scholarships at the University cover full or partial educational and living expenses for the entire duration of the undergraduate program.
The first two graduating classes of Shiv Nadar University have been placed in over 50 top-ranked Indian and global companies including Dell, CSC, Edelweiss, Larsen & Toubro, Shapoorj Pallonji and Axis Bank among others.
Over 13 percent of the graduating class of 2016 have secured admissions in Masters and Doctoral programs in some of the top international universities. These include, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; Fuqua School of Business, Duke University; University of Illinois, Chicago and Urbana Champaign; University of California, Berkeley; University of Texas, Arlington; Stony Brook University; University of Massachusetts, Boston; University of Washington, Seattle, and University College London. In India, the University’s students have been selected by IIM Lucknow and ISB Hyderabad to pursue higher education.

The last date of receiving application forms for undergraduate programs is May 31, 2016, and the last date to appear for SNUSAT and APT test is 9 June, 2016.
