Manjeet Chhillar, Deepak Hooda, Ajay Thakur, Somvir Shekhar will roar for the Paltan in Season 4
Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) announced the new team squad details for their 4th edition starting on 25th June 2016 in Pune. The auction of players took place in Mumbai today.
Puneri Paltan, a Pune franchise of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is the team that created waves in Season 3 by reaching the 3rd position in the League, scoring 48points under the able leadership of Manjeet Chhillar. The team is looking forward for a roaring participation in Season 4.
Manjeet Chhillar, Deepak Hooda, Ajay Thakur, were the Season 3 star players and shall continue to play for Puneri Paltan in Season 4. The Puneri Paltan team is balanced in terms of defense and raiding department and are completely geared up &all set to perform greater in Season 4 under the guidance of the Coach, Ashok Shinde, known as the panther during his playing days.
New players that have joined the Puneri Paltan Team for the season 4 are Ravinder Pahal (Right corner, defender), Sonu Narwal (Raider), Preetam Chhillar (All-rounder), Joginder Narwal (Left corner, defender), Anil Nimbolkar (Raider), Jay BahadurBohara (Raider), I Ketut Ariana (Defender), Khomson Thongkham (Raider), Parmod Narwal (All-rounder), Gurpreet Singh (Defender).
Kailash Kandpal Team Manager of Puneri Paltan said, “We are very happy with our Season 3 performance. In Season 4 we are delighted to have some of our old players back & I am glad to have such experienced talented players playing for our team. The players are overwhelmed with joy as for the Season 4, the opening leg of the League is scheduled to start off in Pune, our home ground itself where we feel shall get a lot of positivity in our performance & delivery. We are confident that the team will put up a stellar performance this season.
