This unit develops knowledge and understanding of the international business environment and business operations in India through first-hand observation of businesses in India. Students develop knowledge in the political, economic, social, legal, technological and cultural environment during the study tour. MQ’s ‘Doing Business in India’ Program is an intense two-week program for undergraduate business students to build their understanding of India’s diversity, complexity and scale and team up with their Indian peers in considering factors influencing the Indian business environment. Macquarie University’s ‘Doing Business in India’ program will not only enlighten our students about doing business in India but will also add momentum to the warm, special, and always growing Indo-Australian relationship. Our two countries share so much in common that it makes sense for us to work together.”
