Capturing the hearts of audiences worldwide and emerging as the slot leader in the weekend primetime band, the recently concluded season 2 of Zee TV's immensely successful children's acting based reality show, ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ unearthed some remarkable young talent. Gifted children entertained the entire nation with their adorable innocence, creativity, spontaneity and histrionic abilities. And from amongst them, 12 year old Kartikey Raj, who earned himself the tag of ‘Comedy King’ on India's Best Dramebaaz, was thrilled to bits when he received the 'Best Actor in a Comic Role' at the hands of the Original Comedy King Kapil Sharma in the Grand Finale of the show! Little did he know that he would soon land an opportunity to work with him in a new show. Yes, the l’il Dramebaz who enthralled viewers with his adorable antics and flair for comical acts has bagged a key part in Kapil Sharma’s upcoming comedy show. Post the finale of India’s Best Dramebaaz, Kartikey’s career is being managed by Zee Talent that provides 360-degree solutions for talent from the entertainment arena.
This spectacular talent from Patna was shortlisted through a comprehensive nationwide search and made a place for himself amongst the Top 16 in the show. He underwent intensive workshops that honed his acting talent and groomed him to emerge as a complete entertainer! He made his mark in the show and shone like a true star with his inimitable style, bringing the house down with his side-splitting punches and witty one liners. Impressed with his superb histrionic abilities, judge Sajid Khan said, “At such a tender age, Kartikey displays an unbelievable confidence while doing comical acts and it is a sheer delight to watch him on stage. I have no qualms in saying that if he keeps working like this…one day he will become like Govinda- numero uno in this genre. When he performs he reminds you of what Govinda would have been like as a child.”
