Bengaluru, May 12, 2016: In a bid to recognize the selfless contribution of the nurses, Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore celebrated International Nurses Day, by organizing numerous activities throughout the week from May 6th to 12th 2016.

The day commemorates every nurse’s unparalleled dedication and contribution to a hospital and its patients. This year’s theme at Fortis was ‘Nursing Care Bundle’ and an array of fun-filled activities like collage competition, essay writing, role playing, art competition, craft making, etc was conducted. Interesting activities like Tug of War, Make or break, Hair styling, Antakshari, etc were also organized for nurses at their hostels over the week. To give it a twist, the nurses also had a fashion pageant where they walked down the ramp and showcased their talent. To make the competition fun and engaging, awards like Best Nurse for each department, Star performer, Best Nurse In-charge, Best Supervisor were given away. A singing and dancing contest was also held and prizes were given away to the winners.
