May 17th, 2016, New Delhi: Artiste Krupa S. Shah participated in the Women Economic Forum 2016 at Pullman Hotel.  For the very first time, India hosted a major global event where women from over 100 countries for a global marathon 408 session strong conference around economically empowering and uplifting women to integrate and contribute to societal wellbeing as well as showcased India as the global growth engine and leader of the new world order.  Artist Krupa S. Shah was the also awarded as the “Iconic leader contributing in Better World” presented at Women Economic Forum 2016 by Dr Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson, All Ladies League.

 Never before had any organisation or chamber taken up such a mammoth task of having women from across the globe discuss global issues that concern the world at large and take leadership positions. Women from various countries and all walks of life will meet to discuss social empowerment, leadership, economic, business and social issues.



About Artist Krupa S.  Shah : 

Born in 1982 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Graduate in Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Mumbai University. Krupa has been artistically inclined since she was a little girl. She remembers being drawn towards the canvas and discovering her own individual style as a teenager. Her ideas translated into paintings instantly.

 Krupa’s knowledge and understanding about art comes from the real world and the experiences she has lived and learned from. Fearlessly independent, she believes that every woman and girl has a right to follow their true calling and her calling was in the field of art. With abstract paintings, Krupa portrays her feelings to her audience and lets them interpret them in the way they feel. She draws inspirations from the things around her.
