ORIENTATION DAY REPORT
SRS International School celebrated its 2nd Orientation Day Programme with great pride on March 27, 2016. Many students have sought admission in various classes of the school right from Pre-nursery to VI. The multi-purpose hall of the school was packed with eager parents and enthusiastic teachers.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp. To explain the paradigm shift in learning, Principal Ms. Deepika Sharma, addressed the parents and motivated them to focus on the quality of learning rather than the quantity of learning. She also discussed about the school policies and CCE pattern.
During the session, parents learnt about every aspect of the school and what they can expect throughout the year. Resource persons from the school’s Education partners, i.e. Britannica, ExtraMarks, Genius Corner, Edunext and Nurture came forward and said a few words explaining their contribution towards the learning of students. Videos of students performing various activities throughout the previous year were also shown to the parents.
It was an enjoyable experience for the parents, teachers and the management as they got to know each other.
