Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 118,750 nos. in March 2016

April 11, 2016: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in March 2016, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 118,750 nos., higher by 11%, over March 2015. Cumulative wholesales for this fiscal were at 10,66,254 nos., higher by 8% over the last fiscal.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in March 2016 were 45,235 nos., higher by 18%, compared to March 2015. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for this fiscal were higher by 4%, over the last fiscal, at 391,629 nos.


Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in March 2016 were at 73,515 nos., higher by 8%, compared to March 2015. Cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for this fiscal at 674,625 nos., was higher by 11%, over the last fiscal.  

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 64,579 vehicles (Includes CJLR* wholesales of 6,388 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 13,370 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 1,02,106 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 51,209 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 4,41,979 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 544,085 vehicles.

*CJLR – It is a JV between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR
