Award recognises TIRUN as India’s premier cruise counsellor and highlights its achievement for pioneering & popularising luxury cruise travel in the country

The ICONIC Awards 2016, organised by Red Hat Communications, awarded TIRUN Travel Marketing for its excellence in marketing and selling luxury cruises, further cementing the brand’s market leadership position in India as the premier cruise counsellor. With a portfolio of Royal Caribbean Cruises’ three cruise brands including Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises, TIRUN has played a highly critical role in enhancing awareness about cruise holidays in the country over the last 23 years.

Further, the award celebrates the resplendent experiences and memorable vacations that TIRUN Travel Marketing facilitates for Indian travellers. TIRUN’s experienced and highly qualified team provides the requisite guidance for cruise travel and undertakes exclusive marketing and sales for the various brands of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. The brand has steadily consolidated its leadership position in the travel industry with a strong network of tour operators and retail travel agents. Apart from investing in customer centric-initiatives, TIRUN periodically introduces activities and procedures that help build and grow the business for its key channel partners around the country.

It had its first full-ship charter in 2008 when over 1500 guests celebrated success on board a Royal Caribbean ship for 6 nights in the Mediterranean. TIRUN has also popularised the concept of cruise weddings in India, again hosting the first in 2009. This year, TIRUN has part chartered the Voyager of the Seas, a 4000 odd passenger capacity ship from Royal Caribbean International to sail from Singapore in May, coinciding with the Indian peak summer travel season.
