Shubhamoy Banerjee has joined as the Food and Beverage Manager at The Orchid Mumbai. Before joining here he was associated with The Lalit Mumbai & Hilton Worlwide in the same position. Shubhamoy carries an experience of more than 15 years and have worked with some of the best national and international brands such as Park Hyatt in US being his 1st assignment, ITC Sheraton, TajMahal Mumbai, Hilton Worldwide to name a few. He has also spent more than 6 years in cruises as Acting F&B Manager.
After graduating with distinction from I.H.M Calcutta as All India rank holder, where he stood 4th in All India 22 IHM’s in the year 2000, he went on a scholarship to one of the best hotel schools in Europe, Tourismusschulen Klessheim in Salzburg , Austria to pursue his Post graduation Diploma in Hotel Management where again he stood 1st .
A leader who believes in leading from the front, he is a pre-opening specialist and he possess excellent guest skills including serving many Heads of State with extensive Food & Wine knowledge due to his association with various award-winning hotels and restaurants.
