~Hotel Sahara Star introduced special dishes with blue dots in the menu for people with diabetes ~
Mumbai April, 2016 – Hotel Sahara Star celebrated the World Health Day by introducing “Project True Blue” to all its guests. With a view to spread the message “Now Fine Dining is Diabetes-Friendly too” – Earthplate, the global cuisine restaurant of the hotel, hosted some special dishes approved for people with diabetes. On this special day the restaurant displayed exclusive dishes and recipes with a blue dot for identifying the Diabetes friendly food. The restaurant curated blue dot dishes like Chicken Pot with Pie Crust and Spanish Tortilla with Zucchini. These dishes were validated through the expert panel of McCANN Health certified Diabetologists, Nutritionists, food technologists, statistcians, psychologists of our country.
Hotel Sahara Star had associated with McCann Health and United Diabetes Forum on this very special day for educating the guests on the Diabetes Blue Dot. In today’s era Diabetes has gripped various sections of the society. To fight this people not only need to change their lifestyle but also modify their diet. Choosing the right food is as important as consuming food on regular basis. Keeping in mind this thought the restaurant took this initiative to spread to share some information on opting for the right food for good health.
