HyperCITY Retail (India) Ltd., one of the largest hypermarket chains in the country today announced the launch of its first store in Panvel. The opening of the Panvel store takes the overall footprint of the retail chain to 18 stores across India. The store is strategically located in the Orion Mall which is the first ever multi-brand mall in Panvel. Situated in the Hub of Panvel, with ease of access through proximity to the Railway Station and the ST Bus Depot, the location provides an unexplored viable catchment.
Leading Marathi Film & Theatre Actor, Mr. Pushkar Shrotri inaugurated the store along with Mr. Govind Shrikhande, Managing Director of Shoppers Stop Ltd., Mr. Ramesh Menon, Chief Executive Officer, HyperCITY Retail (India) Ltd. and Mr. Hemant Taware, Chief Operating Officer, HyperCITY Retail (India) Ltd.
Spread over 31,000 sq. ft., the new store is the largest hypermarket in Panvel providing its consumers a world class shopping experience. The store boasts the finest range of products across categories such as Grocery, Fruits & Vegetables, Home & Personal Care, Apparel, Footwear, Small Appliances, Home Décor, Sports, Toys, Stationery, Kitchen accessories, Gifting, Fitness and more, all under one roof. There is also a special Meat, Fish and Bakery section.
The store promises to attract footfalls from Navi Mumbai, Raigad District, Kharghar, Nerul, CBD Belapur, New Panvel, Old Panvel, Seawoods Uran, Ulwe, Rasyani, Mahad, Roha, Karjat, Chowk, Khalapur, Khapoli and Alibag.
