1. NO CRAVING FOR SWEETS

Both men and women have a sweet tooth but you can't think of anything else till you don't finish that pastry / laddoo lying in the refrigerator whereas he will just satisfy himself with a small bite of it. Moreover he turns to meat when he wants to indulge which keeps him full far longer than your pastry.

2. He doesn't curse himself all day when he screws up

Okay so u were PMS ing or your maid decided to take off and that doughnut kept telling you to come and eat it. So u did but now don't eat the next one thinking that today s diet has gone for a toss and now you will start afresh tomorrow. He would have eaten that doughnut, relished it and would have gotten back to his workout regime because he does not want to be called a perfectionist. You on the other hand try to be perfect overnight which is close to torturing yourself. Don t be so hard on yourself. Its not worth it.



3. HE PICKS UP HEAVY WEIGHTS

Its high time that you drop the Barbie weights and work your body with heavier weights. Concentrate on doing fewer reps. It will help you get rid of your loose flabs sooner and look leaner. No, you will not look muscular since you do not have the hormone testosterone, so relax, take a chill pill n pick up those slightly heavier weights.


4. FOOD IS NOT HIS THERAPIST

You are twice as likely as him to get depressed because you tend to spend hours turning one small negative thought around in your mind, adding a few others and whipping it all into critical mass. As if this was not enough to harm your health, you go ahead and binge eat and suddenly food ( read unhealthy food ) becomes your therapist and then it becomes a vicious cycle. Trust me no such thought is worth harming yourself. It will only lead to depression and binge eating.


5.  HE DOES NOT GIVE UP STUFF HE LIKES

You on the other hand punish yourself by depriving yourself of all your favourites overnight. As a result you overeat after a few days. The easier way out is to learn to satisfy yourself like he does with a small portion of your favourite food daily.

Many times women are told that if you feel you are going to overeat then distract yourself by cleaning the house. That's like torturing yourself. No man in his right mind is going to do chores to keep himself from overeating. So, take a cue from him and look for something enjoyable that engaged your hand and mind.
