Wellness Forever, the rapidly growing pharmacy store chain engages over 2000 runners at the inception of Well-A-Thon 2016, in conjunction with TSEC Sports Committee today, starting at Bandra, Bandstand in Mumbai. Ending at TSEC college campus, the Marathon for Wellness- Well-A-Thon is a step towards bringing about transition from traditional practices in pharmacy to a holistic approach towards health and wellness, by the brand. In an initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle under its CSR initiative Wellness Connect, Wellness Forever proposes the 'EAT & DELETE’ drive - eat whatever you like as far as you balance it by running/ walking and exercising regularly. The Well-A-thon witnessed the glitterati of health enthusiasts like World Body Building Champion, Suhas Khamkar and Bollywood actor Harman Baweja who encouraged the youth towards participating in more of health related activities. “Diet is the most crucial aspect in muscle building and it has to go well with exercising”, says Suhas while he also urged the crowd to use Indian Brands for better health, thereby promoting ‘Make in India’. “Fitness is a state of mind and regular exercising is the foundation of staying healthy physically and mentally,” added Harman.

“We are pleased to receive an overwhelming response and the engagement created today with the participants from all age groups, especially the youth which gathered in huge numbers. Well-A-Thon 2016 is a humble attempt on our part to highlight the importance of physical activity in day-to-day life. With Community wellness as its core value, the brand ensured that each participant was completely taken care of, right from the beginning to recovery points at each terminal. To ascertain injury management and performance enhancement Wellness Forever collaborated with HEAL as their Recovery Partner and a booth for muscle release as well as body assessments was set up at TSEC campus.

Aiming at holistic wellbeing of the people, the event brought to the fore the social cause of animal adoption with the association of PETA- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
