The NGO had organised the Dinner for a Cause featuring a panel discussion with eminent personalities from different walks of life. The discussion was interesting, delving into the lives of the accomplished panelists in how they found inspiration in their lives and how they continue to be inspired and inspire people around them. The program was convened by Richa Anirudh. The much anticipated event had distinguished invitees which includes Shri R.M. Lodha- Former Chief Justice of India, Shri Vinod Rai- The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, Dr Sunil Bharti Mittal- Founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprise, Ms Sairee Chahal- CEO Sheores
About Gunjan Foundation- Gunjan Foundation is an NGO founded in the year 2004 with a mission to pursue educational and other welfare programs for the betterment of the underprivileged particularly women and children. Among many other social activities over the years, today, the foundation focuses on spreading literacy and vocational training.
We run to capacity with over 220 kids in the morning school and 90 students in the afternoon bridge school. Several vocational training programs viz. beauty courses and tailoring are run for adults to provide a means to help supplement their family income.
Like any NGO, we need funds to continue our work and pursue our objective of spreading literacy among the children and youth to give them a chance for a better and brighter future. We hope you will join us in our zeal to give back to the less fortunate and enable them to have ambitious possibilities.
