‘Super HIT Vacation’ campaign by Godrej LAL HIT announces Mrs. Hema Mody as the winner

Mumbai, 29th March, 2016: Godrej LAL HIT concludes with the final leg of its edutainment
campaign, ‘Super HIT Vacation’ which leveraged on the topicality of summer vacation to deliver the
core message that ‘cockroaches spread food poisoning’. Keeping this thought in mind, Godrej LALHIT with its new campaign addressed young mothers about the importance of a safe and healthy
summer vacation in three phases.

The most awaited moment for finalists ended with the announcement of ‘Super HIT Vacation’
contest winner Mrs. Hema Mody. She walks away with an exciting opportunity to appear on
television and travel vouchers worth Rs.50,000 from Godrej LAL HIT.

On this occasion, Mr. Sunil Kataria, Managing Director, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd & Business
Head at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. presented the winner with the award and vouchers. He
concluded the ceremony and said, “We are glad to receive such a great support by all moms and
consumers. It is extremely important to keep your environment hygienic and free of cockroaches. At
Godrej our constant aim is to save our consumers from health hazards and give them a healthy

During the course of the contest, the campaign saw three phase. In the last leg, the campaign
concluded with visits to the finalists’ houses in Mumbai and Delhi by celebrity mom Tisca Chopra,
who plays the balance of a perfect mother in reel and real life. Contestants were been marked on
their summer preparations.

Godrej LAL HIT has conducted a research which highlighted that 80% of consumers acknowledge
about cockroach infestation in their home but only 17% consumers use some solution to address the
problem. And therefore Godrej LAL HIT has taken the ownership of educating mothers on the
problem and help them solve the problem from its root, in an engaging and clutter breaking way.

The campaign – ‘Super HIT Vacation’ has reached out to mothers across the nation through a mix of
