Mumbai,March 22nd, 2016: Sheffield Hallam University, one of the UK’s largest universities with a reputation for innovative courses in new and emerging fields, is offering scholarships worth £20,000 in partnership with the British Council, as part of the GREAT campaign to encourage India's brightest students to study in the UK.
Sheffield Hallam is offering four GREAT scholarships worth £5,000 to India domiciled students who are applying for master's study in September 2016. One GREAT scholar will be selected for postgraduate study in each of the following subject areas: Biosciences; Engineering; Business and Management; Construction, Building and Surveying.
Anna Toyne, regional manager for South Asia, Sheffield Hallam University, said, "We work closely with employers and professional organisations to ensure our courses are developing the skills which are required in business and industry. The subject areas selected for the GREAT scholarships for September 2016 include opportunities to specialize in innovative, new courses such as MSc Automation, Control and Robotics and MSc Wealth Management."
She added: “We are very proud of our GREAT scholars and the contribution they make to our student community. We look forward to receiving another round of high quality applications.”
Sheffield Hallam has previously offered GREAT scholarships in a variety of subject areas including MSc Sport and Exercise Science, MBA, and MSc Advancing Physiotherapy Practice.
Eligibility: Each scholarship is worth £5,000. Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate high levels of academic, personal or professional success on their application form. Students must hold an offer for their chosen course before applying for a scholarship.
The GREAT scholarship deadline is May 31st, 2016.
